Abstract
The effects of pressure and electrolyte concentrations on cathodic contact glow discharge electrolysis of aqueous LiOH on platinum have been studied. I determining factor for the onset of a glow discharge, although solvent evaporation due to Joule heating might have some influence. The discharges obtai of the chemistry of energetic species generated at the electrode.
