The COMAND Technology Gateway is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-27.
COMAND, based at the SRI TUS Athlone campus concentrates on the research and development of prospective interactive media technologies focusing on Augmenting User Interactions, End-to-end Applications and Intelligent Infrastructure. These technologies are complementary and will combine to create the opportunity for new and innovative forms of "connected media" (personalised, real-time interactive) applications in a wide range of commercial fields including telecoms, gaming, TV, e-health, e-learning, e-tourism, e-retailing, entertainment and digital marketing.
COMAND Connected Media Application Design and Delivery is part of the Technology Gateway Network funded by Enterprise Ireland - a nationwide resource for industry based in the IoTs delivering solutions on near to market problems for industrial partners.
