The core objectives of CEIDE are:

- To grow the profile of postgraduate research opportunities within the TUS undergraduate and alumni community.
- To engage in research, demonstration, consultancy and project development activities in the related fields of enterprise, innovation, commercialisation, social entrepreneurship and business design.
- To create synergies with other research groups and faculties within TUS and across the RUN-EU network to increase postgraduate opportunities for TUS graduates, improved supervision opportunities for staff, and thereby driving the development of internationally relevant enterprise research.
- To engage with nascent business start-ups, growing SMEs, and intrapreneurial multinationals to support the creation of supportive collaborative and networking activities aimed at supporting their specific needs.
